We considered not going, but because we hardly ever get to visit Grandpa Bob, we decided to forge ahead. It wasn't a good start with three out of four of us cranky...poor daddy. I won't go into all of the details, but to summarize, there was lots of stuff that toddlers would LOVE to get into, but parents dread. Not only were we all cranky, but we had to continually tell the boys "no." Lots of fun. Poor Grandpa got to see the worst side of the boys...sorry, Grandpa! Lesson learned: no more traveling with sick toddlers (or mommies for that matter). Luckily, however, there were a few things that kept them out of trouble most of the time. I'll continue to post pictures of these things throughout the week.
One of the highlights was that there were a few duck families that would come visit, and beg to be fed. The boys loved the ducks, and got the chance to feed them and get "duck kisses." "Duck kisses," by the way, was our way of labeling the ducks' pecking. We were afraid the boys might be frightened when the ducks grabbed the food from their hands, but they did pretty well! Here are some pics of the boys interacting with the ducks.

We miss you, ducks!!
