Grandma Judy - Our Savior

There are no words to explain how much we love and appreciate everything Grandma Judy does for us. I've been wanting to write about her since I started this blog, but I've been putting it off because I'm afraid I won't be able to do her justice. Here is my attempt at expressing my gratitude!



From the beginning of our adventures in parenthood, Grandma Judy has offered herself up for anything we might need. It started with giving us breaks so that we could get some rest, bringing us dinner, offering to grocery shop, doing laundry, etc. You name it, she did it. Then the dreaded time for me to return to work came, and Grandma Judy was there to save us again. She has given up her free time to care for our angels while Mark and I work. I know a lot of people bring their kids to a daycare, but I was dreading leaving my babies in the hands of strangers. I am beyond grateful that we have an amazing, loving, nurturing, selfless grandma who is willing to give up so much of her time for us and our boys. She's been sacrificing for us at least 3 days a week for almost 2 years now.

Not only does Grandma Judy take care of our crazy two-year-old boys, but she takes care of us as well. I come home each night to find that she's taken it upon herself to do laundry, grocery shop, unload the dishwasher or anything else she might find us in need of. It's absolutely unbelievable - I can't express how much she does for us. The peace-of-mind alone is invaluable, but all the other stuff is the icing, sprinkles, whipped cream, cherry, and whatever else you can add to a cake all piled up!!

She loves our little guys so much, and they adore her. It's so precious to watch the interaction. They are learning so much about what kind of people to be from her. She's affectionate, upbeat, generous, organized, warm, smart, caring, and on, and on, and on...!!

If everyone had a fraction of the help and love we get from Grandma, the world would be a lot less stressful place. Everyone needs a Grandma Judy!!



Judy, we are forever indebted to you. I hope you at least have an idea of how thankful we all are for all you do. We love you SO much!!!
