The Big Bear

Next week, we're doing it. We're going to the happiest place on earth. That's right, Disneyland. Although Jack and Owen love Mickey and Donald, among others, we aren't sure how they'll react to the life-sized version. We do, however, have a pretty good idea that it will go well. In early October, we went to a nursery here in town to see Singing Grandma's band perform, and were greeted by the nursery's new mascot. The boys LOVED her, and I can't stress how much. They loved her so much that they didn't want anything to do with anything else. We tried to get them interested in other things there, but all they could talk about was the bear. "Bear doin'?" "See bear." Eventually we gave in, and just hung out at the entrance, and stalked the poor bear. Luckily the bear loved the boys as much as they loved her.

They were so excited that they had the wiggles. They would run and hug her, then run back and stare and giggle. At one point, some other kids came in to say hi to the bear. The boys just kind of stared at them like, "Um, excuse me. That's our bear." The nerve.

Check out some of their cute expressions while staring at their new friend.
