Sugar and Cheese

It's quarter-end time again, which means my time is extremely limited!  Because of this, I thought I'd just tell a cute little story instead of posting a picture or video (much easier!).

Before leaving for work each morning, I give the boys hugs and kisses and tell them all the things Mommies tell their little ones, "I love you," "I'll miss you lots," "Have a great day," etc.  Sometimes they are too busy playing, but I can usually sneak some love in there even if it's not given back with 100% focus.  Lately they've been really sweet, and telling me the things I usually tell them before I get a chance.  The last few days, after giving them their morning hugs/kisses goodbye, they've run to me as I'm walking away and say "One more minute, Mom!"  So I stay and give them hugs and kisses for one more minute.  The other day, they took turns doing this a few times (makes it very hard to leave!), so I commented that I was getting lots of sugar that morning and thanked them.  In response, Owen said "Thank you for the sugar and cheese, Mom."  That cracked me up.  Not sure where the cheese entered the picture, but it was a wonderful start to a very crazy day at work!
