The beautiful, glowing mommy-to-be herself!
After the shower, the boys came over to say hi to everyone. We were talking about how Auntie Michelle has a baby in her tummy, when Owen looked at her with a horrified expression and said "She ate a baby?" He was actually very concerned, but the rest of us couldn't contain our laughter. I had to do a little more explaining on that one! I sometimes forget how literal their thinking is.
Another example of this occurred earlier that same afternoon. One of them asked, "Where's the swimming table?" That one baffled me. The swimming table? It turned out they were looking for the pool table. Duh.
On another note, I had some extra dough left over from making cookies for the shower, so Jack and Owen made some of their own. Here they are decorating them with frosting.
Jack was very focused, and took his time. When he was done, he didn't want to eat it...we had to convince him it was ok!
Owen, on the other hand, ate as he decorated!!
