'Twas the day of Christmas, when there was a knock at the door.
It was a Grandma and Grandpa with presents galore!
How did the boys thank them?
Did they dance, did they sing?
No, they attacked their dear Mevie with green silly string.

Did Clarkie like that?
How did he feel?
His face said it all, "Are you for real??"

Then Owen rushed over and pleaded, "Please forgive us!
I promise we did it in the spirit of Christmas!
I have something to show you that's yummy and sticky;
It might cheer you up...it's a cookie Mickey!
I decorated it myself, mommy and daddy about cried.
It nearly brought tears, they were so full of pride."

Clark looked and considered, but wasn't so sure;
he thought the cookie was kind of obscure.
He sat in his chair, in his thinking position, admitting it was pretty funny
to see poor Mevie covered in goo that was green and slimy and runny.

Jack and his tongue were elated to hear that all had been forgiven,
so decided to show Clark how remote-control cars are driven.

Owen decided to jump in on the fun, sporting his new snazzy glasses.
He sipped from a cup, and filled his mouth with apple juice full of gases.

Clark was delighted, I'm happy to say, that his cousins are so silly.
Jack and Owen would do just about anything to make their cuz smile...really!

Later that night, after lots of bubbly,
Owen rolled up his sleeves for a show.
He bared his forearm to display a tattoo
of an angry bird we've all come to know.

Clark was shocked, and had no words to say;
He could only think, "No way, dude. No way."

Then an extra fun gift from Aunt Jamie was opened,
something the boys could scratch.
Their first lotto tickets were quite the hit, and they actually had a match!

What a Christmas we had, with lots of loved ones,
we couldn't have asked for more.
Most special was having Clarkie here for the very first time, whom we all love and adore.

Ok, sorry. I'll stop. That just got worse and worse as I got more and more tired! We had the most wonderful Christmas...the best yet. Lots of family and friends. We are very blessed. Hope you all are just as lucky as me.
And because I couldn't resist my little munchkins decorating skills, here are Santa's cookies (and a carrot for the reindeer that somehow got eaten before Santa arrived...oops!).
