Yo Pops

When I was younger, my mom would make popsicles out of yogurt, and sometimes swirl them with a little juice.  I remember enjoying them, so I decided to try it with Jack and Owen.  I figured it would be a good way to keep them cool outside in the summer heat.  They LOVE them!  It's funny because when eating yogurt thawed out, it can be touch and go.  Somehow, freezing the yogurt makes it a hot commodity!  It's perfect because they think it's a treat, and I'm happy to give it to them!  We even use it as a bribe to get them to eat the rest of their meal sometimes (what would we do without bribes?).  Thanks for this idea, mom!  Here are a couple cute pictures of the boys enjoying their yo-pops.

Don't even think about snatching this from me, Mommy!

Jack with Yo-Pop

Eyeing a game of bean bag toss going on, and contemplating joining...but there's this yo-pop that he can't put down.

Owen with Yo-Pop

Perfectly happy sticking to just the yo-pop.

And there we have it.  The best of both worlds.
