A Halloween Tale

OK, first things first.  WOOOHOOO GIANTS!!!!  I can't believe it.  We had a blast last night watching the game with a bunch of family and friends, and the boys had a great time yelling and cheering along with everyone else.  What a night to remember!!!

Now on with the tale...

'Twas Halloween night, when across the street
a beautiful angel was scared, and feeling the heat.
She called the two Superheroes whom she new best,
unfortunately, they had not gotten much rest.

Grumpy Super Heroes

Although they were grumpy, they wanted to help
and the beautiful angel let out a grateful yelp.
Looking into the distance, one west and one east,
these two super boys spotted two frightful beasts.

Owen

Concern spread across those super faces,
as they each froze in their respective places.

Superman attempts to take off, he really does try.
He realizes, however, that for some reason he can't fly.
He jumps and he strains, but to no avail.
He realizes his cape is at home, and not on his tail.

Jack Jumping

Then suddenly the angel yells "I've got a solution!"
And Spidy listens intently, happy for the contribution.
They huddle as the angel lays out her plan.
Spidy shouts, "I think I can do it. I know can!!"

Then all of a sudden, Superman says "Wait!
I'm afraid the observations we made don't equate.
I'm feeling quite silly, and not very witty,
as it appears that those two beasts are just little kitties."

Jack

Spidy came running, "let me see that.
There's no way those scary things are just cats."

Owen Running

"They really are just kitties, how silly of us.
It's hard to believe we made such a fuss."
The angel exclaimed what good helpers they were,
even though it turned out to just be two balls of fur.
The kitties received love, and all was forgiven.
The rest of the night was spent laughin' and livin'.

Owen and Oliver

Please forgive me for this...I couldn't resist!
