Mickey Mouse Lollipops

We try not to give our boys a lot of sugar, however, on the third day of Disneyland, in the depths of utter exhaustion, we hit a point of desperation. As you saw from the Mickey Mouse ears pictures, the boys were beyond tired. They took a short snooze in the stroller, courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa, but it was no where near long enough. We decided to cure the fatigue with....SUGAR! We bought some Mickey Mouse lollipops, which the boys LOVED. Crisis averted! Well, temporarily, but we took what we could get.  We gave them each one, Owen red, and Jack purple, and proceeded to take a little ride on the monorail. This ended up being one of the boys' favorite rides, which they continue to talk about today.  To make it extra special, we were really lucky and got to sit in the back, which was like our own private little car. So fun!

Starting off a little grumpy.

Then you can see the sugar start to take effect!

After 10 minutes or so, Owen's Mickey was gone (he's a biter). Owen then saw that Jack was slowly sucking away at his, and used his "nice voice" to ask for a lick. Jack, being the kind, generous brother he is, obliged, and proceeded to share his Mickey with brother. What a sweetie! Even after sharing, it took him more than an hour to finish that lollipop!
